In conjunction with the Colorado Department of Transportation, El Paso County has initiated a Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) Study and Access Control Plan (ACP) for the extension of South Powers Boulevard. The section of South Powers Blvd being planned for and analyzed in this study does not currently exist but would connect to the existing Powers Boulevard at its intersection with Mesa Ridge Parkway (CO 16), through to a connection with Interstate-25 (I-25) South of the City of Fountain.
